For many clients, the period immediately following first production is the most critical: new assets must be ramped up safely, operating teams are developing system familiarity, and early operational issues must be resolved before they become production losses.

Full O&M Management
SPEC takes full operational and maintenance management responsibility for oil and gas production, processing, and refinery facilities on behalf of the facility owner. Our operations management team is responsible for safe operations, maintenance planning, spare parts management, and production performance — with a structured programme to progressively transfer operational ownership to the client’s team.
Operations Supplementation
For clients with existing operating teams that need short-term or medium-term reinforcement, SPEC provides experienced operators, maintenance supervisors, and technical specialists who work alongside client personnel — filling capability gaps and accelerating the development of local operating competencies.
O&M Handover Programs
Following project completion, SPEC designs and delivers structured handover programs covering: operating procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, spare parts management strategy, initial operator training, and first-year performance monitoring. This program is tailored to the specific facility and client organisation.
Long-Term O&M Contracts
SPEC has operated oil and gas processing facilities on long-term contracts, providing sustained operational expertise across multi-year engagements. Our longest-running O&M contract has been active since 2016.
